1976 Bicentennial Stamp Document. Limited edition document produced in 1976 for the 200th anniversary of the USA Bicentennial.
Document contains 50 state flag stamps which were stamped in September through November of 1976 in each US state capital under authority of the United States Postmaster.
Originally made in a limited edition of 5,000, some pieces thought to have been seized by customs or destroyed by fire, unclear how many survived, this is #021.
Attractive decor piece, also useful for someone memorizing the state capitals. Measures about 33" by 41" framed
